waiting

 prints waiting for stitches

some are complete as they are; all have at least two layers of different types of print

decisions are needed over which will benefit from stitches and which are best left alone.

  1. These images are all so gorgeous - they make me feel like warm caramel inside. I just love them.

  2. Is the photo third from the bottom stitches on print, or a print of stitches? They all look wonderful to handle.

    1. Hi Olga. It's a print of stitch, a collagraph made from stitches in paper. I use thick printmaking paper and it is lovely to handle.

  4. Ooooh! What wonderful layers you've created. I'm a rust junky and so love the rusted areas. The holes are intriguing...are they waiting for stitching or will they remain as is? I like the "as is" a lot.

  5. Hi Jennifer. They're not actually holes, they're from a collagraph print so they are little embossed depressions with a little ink. Difficult to know what to leave and what to add to...
